Extensive site work, new utilities and construction of the stage will commence first, with the development of the Hillside finishing Phase II as part of the Land Development Plan (LDP) approved by Palmyra Township and Wayne County.
The stage designed by the world renowned firm of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson will be constructed syncing to the natural landscape with tiered seating on the Hillside crafted by Adams Hardscape; additional infrastructure (electrical, IT & water) will be completed and major site lighting will be finished allowing both day and night operations.
Harmony furthered its P3 approach with its LDP by constructing its main parking parallel to US6 allowing for intermodal possibilities for use by local and regional entities.
Harmony has continued to engage regional expertise in its development with Leeward serving as primary site contractor, DAKAN as Construction Manager for the stage, Wallis Electric responsible for the site electrical / lighting infrastructure, PennTeleData/Blue Ridge Communications running fiber and installing hardware utilizing Harmony’s conduit system which will allow remote operations of all systems and live streaming all based on the work by Kiley Associates who completed planning and the regulatory approvals process. Harrison Signs will handle all site signage, with American Fence Company installing the main gates and emergency access gate on Woodland Avenue. Sound and lighting will be installed by Magdon Music. PennDOT approved access to the site with issuance of an Highway Occupancy Permit allowing direct access from US6. Additional contractors may be engaged adding to the positive economic impact to the regional economy.
Phase 2 commenced development over the fall of 2019 and re-engaged construction in late May 2020 due to restrictions of Covid-19; completion is set for May 2021.
